About Us
As lifelong residents, Gina and Jamie Wilkinson had a desire to revitalize Old Town Glen Carbon. With Jamie's addition of the beautiful building at the corner of Main Street and Glen Crossing Road, Miner Square, there was a need to fill that space with businesses that would bring visitors back to the heart of the Village. Both Jamie and Gina had childhood memories of visiting Judges Dairy Bar on Main Street after saving change from lunch money and doing extra chores to get candy after school.
To bring back the nostalgia of our childhood candy store memories, we opened Sweeties Confections. Jamie's sister, Jill, had several years' experience in the chocolate and candy industry and added the sophistication of fine chocolates to the business.

Our growing chocolate and confections business has expanded in several directions. Of course, our fine chocolates are the star of the show and can be purchased by the piece or in a beautifully arranged boxed assortment. In addition, we feature Jelly Belly products, gourmet dessert mixes, coffees and teas, and some savory items to round out a perfect gift for anyone. We offer light catering of boxed lunches and breakfasts. Sweeties is a very popular place to host a party or event. Corporate gifts are a large part of our business with well over a thousand baskets and gift boxes supplied to our corporate clients each Christmas season. Sweeties adds whimsical elegance to all kinds of events, such as a wedding, corporate affair, or special celebration with "Candy Buffets."
